Appeared in 1993 in Rio De Janeiro, with lyrics speaking basically about marijuana and its legalization, they started to make shows in Rio de Janeiro and other capitals, as Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Curitiba, participating of festivals. The presentations of the group started to stand out because they always finished in fight and confusion. In 1994, the death of Skunk, idealizer of the band with Marcelo D2, interrupted the career of the Planet Hemp for some time, but after Bê Negão joined the group they signed a contract with Sony Music releasing, in 1995, the "Usuário" Album. This record projected the band, charting some successes between the young public, as "Mantenha o Respeito", "Legalize Já", "Fazendo a Cabeça" and the controversial "Porcos Fardados" (Pigs in Uniform), a critic to police violence.
